Q.Do you have a Resort Fee? If so, what’s included?
Yes, we charge a $25 per night resort fee inclusive of taxes. This nightly fee includes a daily Continental Breakfast Buffet, 3-Hour Wine & Cheese Reception, all-day Refreshments, High-Speed Wireless Internet, Bottled Water, Turndown Service, Free Local and Toll-Free Calls, Fax and Package Service, Library with Books and Newspapers, access to nearest New York Sports Club, and more!
Q.Is Library Hotel wheelchair accessible?
Library Hotel is wheelchair accessible and offers Deluxe Rooms with One Queen Bed and amenities that are accessible to persons with disabilities. Please feel free to contact our concierge or reservations manager for assistance in reserving these rooms for your stay.
Q.Do you have any rooms with two beds?
Library Hotel does not have any rooms with two double beds. It is possible to reserve a "Family Unit." which would require you to book two separate rooms: one Deluxe Room with One King Bed (275 sq ft with one king size bed) and one Junior Suite (350 sq ft with one king size bed and pullout sofa bed). These two rooms would be adjoining with a common exterior door. Please let us know in your reservation that you will need a Family Unit.
All of our sister hotels (Hotel Giraffe, Hotel Elysee, and Casablanca Hotel) have a limited amount of rooms with two double beds so we encourage you to look at their availability as well! Hotel Giraffe is our most family-friendly in our brand, as they have the most double bedded rooms, which can connect to create a two bedroom suite.
Q.Is there an age requirement to check into Library Hotel?
Yes. Library Hotel requires all guests to be at least 21 years or older in order to check into the hotel. All guests will be asked to provide a credit card and valid form of ID upon arrival. Children are always welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 years or older at all times.
Q.Can I request a specific room theme?
We sincerely try our best to accommodate you in your preferred room theme, however, we do ask that you give us at least three choices so that there is a better chance that one is available.

Q.Will you accept packages on my behalf before I arrive or after I depart?
While we are happy to accept packages on your behalf, please keep in mind that our storage space is incredibly limited. We will gladly accept up to 5 small or medium sized packages per guest reservation. We regret that we are unable to accommodate larger parcels or anything exceeding 10lbs or 4.5kg. Please remember to use the name associated with your hotel reservation and also write “hotel guest” whenever possible. Packages for guests that have already departed will not be accepted.
Q.How can I book a group stay?
Any bookings of 5 or more rooms is considered a group and must be reserved through the Sales Office. If you're a family (wedding blocks included), group of friends, or those travelling with the same company and are looking to stay at the hotel over the same (or very similar) dates, you are considered a group. This also includes all companies that have a contracted negotiated rate at the Library Hotel. Upon contacting the Sales Office, a special rate and cancellation policy will be offered. The Library Hotel reserves the right to immediately cancel and/or modify any group reservations that are booked on our website, over the phone, by a travel agent, or on an online travel agency (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.).

Q.What time is check-in and check-out? Can you guarantee an early check-in or a late check-out?
Check-in time is 3:00PM. We try our best to accommodate all early check-ins but since we're a small hotel, we cannot make any guarantees. If you arrive before 3PM and your room is not ready, we will be happy to store your luggage for you.
Check-out time is 1:00PM. Occasionally, we can extend a late check-out for an additional fee. Please call our Front Desk if your departure is delayed. We will make every effort to accommodate you.
Q.I need to park my car. Is there parking close to the hotel?
Hotel guests can utilize our discounted rates at ICON Parking garage located at 29 East 39th Street between Park and Madison Avenues. Rates are $40 to $55 per 24 hours based on the car size. Please note that as of April 1, 2016, discounted rates MUST BE paid for with a CREDIT CARD; cash will not be accepted. Unfortunately, a reservation at the hotel DOES NOT guarantee a parking spot. The garage does get full from time to time so parking is at a first come first serve basis. We recommend public transportation as the best means to get to and from Library Hotel.
Q.Does Library Hotel allow pets?
While we love our furry friends, our hotel is very small and unfortunately, we do not allow pets to stay at the hotel. Guests that need service animals for some extra help are more than welcome to bring them along.
Q.Is the hotel non-smoking?
Library Hotel is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all public spaces and guest rooms. There is a smoking fee of $200 per incident.
